Scaling down…The Beginning

Well the scale was kind this morning. Four Hundred and Sixty Five pounds. Based on my last weigh in back last summer (475 if I remember correctly) and I know I had put on a bit more, I estimate that I lost about 15lbs in about a week and a half. But like I said before, that is in the past. I am really starting at 465lbs. The experts say that 10% weight loss will make huge differences, so my mini goal is 419lbs. I have to expectations as to how long this will take. I would love to be well past this goal by the summer. Perhaps that is my real mini goal.

    You may even want to set a few smaller mini goals for yourself and set up rewards for each mini-goal (that are not food related)

    like buying yourself a new CD or going to a movie or something.

    Then you just shoot for the mini-goals one at a time and the 10% goal doesn’t seem so overwhelming!

    Yeah!!! YIPPEE!!! a loss no matter how much or little is a LOSS!!! I’m proud of you..one day at a time, thats the only way. You’ll have loads of support here!! Blog often, comment on other blogs and make buddys!!! I’ve watched people totally transform themselves here…I’m hoping to do the same! Best wishes!!!
